AIS comes in two parts the AIS Development Environment and the AIS Player. Interactive content is designed and tested using the AIS Development Environment. The AIS Developer is a debugging system that allows developers to see exactly what is going on within the core of AIS and allows you to directly input commands live in real-time and watch the results.

The AIS Player is the AIS Development Environment but with a simplified end user interface which has a basic menu system for interactive application selection and launch, The AIS Player can be set to automatically start and launch a selected interactive. The Player also has a very simple and easy to use camera calibrator and setup system.

AIS is able to handle 99% of all cameras currently on the market including USB / Firewire and Svideo (via capture card).AIS 1.1 Developer works only on Windows XP. You need a Minimum of a 1.5Ghz Intel Celeron processor.

AIS listens to a TCP/IP port and waits for instructions. AIS does not have its own logic control but instead uses other development languages as controllers, as this significantly reduces the amount of time it takes for a developer to learn a new development language and allows the developer to use there development system of choice to create interactive applications.
Any development system can be used that has TCP/IP socket support such as VB, C++. C#, Java, Unity, Flash, PHP etc…

AIS uses a unique way of handling motion detection called zones. AIS has full control over the zones and can create, delete, move or resize them. Zones can be any shape or size and can be applied to any part of the video feed. Each zone can have its own individual sensitivity and threshold settings. Zones can overlap each other and there is no limit to how many zones you can have.
